So many complain about this place but don't have anything to compare it to! There are the cruse ships that come in and expect it to be find dining, then there are the deadbeats that take up all the time with coupons and arguing with only one person behind the counter. Little do they know they are affecting several others many of which are able to club them to death! In any case................food is ok, staff are friendly but they need to expand the hours. I might by used to NYC service 24 hours per day but please..........is anything open in this town after 8 PM with the excepting of extremely overpriced restaurants that have huge lines? In NYC and even in San Fran the food quality is better, faster service, better prices! Portland seems like it has a monopoly on high prices! The operating costs in both those places I've lived is "extremely" higher but for some reason they both have better and lower priced restaurants! Either people are being over charged or the cost of business is higher in Portland than NYC? Perhaps its a combination of many other factors as Maine is a very strange state

This subway has the freshest and most delicious bread ever! It's definitely the best subway I've ever been to and it's so close to my apartment! It' quick and delicious!
